HRD Strategies-concept, Designing HRD Strategy,Future challenges and HRD model.

Career Planning- nature, objectives,  importance planning programmes process.
Career Development- meaning, objectives, principles, benefits ,theories and role of HRD function in Career planning and development.Career strategy process.

Unit IV: 

HRD culture and climate,Quality circles, performance appraisal, potential appraisal , Quality work life and  learning organization.

Unit V: 

HRD Practices in India –Institution/Agencies,programmes, evalution of HRD future, recent trends, HRD Strategies for Retention.

 

* A minimum of one case study will be discussed per unit of the syllabi.
