Objective:

Entrepreneurial Development

Meaning of EDP, objectives and evolution. Significance and process of EDP, ED Training. Development of women Entrepreneurs, reasons for low women entrepreneurs, their role, problems and prospects. Role of consultancy organizations in promoting Entrepreneurs.

Creating and starting the venture

Steps for starting a small business, market assessment for small enterprises. Preparation of Business Plan, process, feasibility analysis and project formulation. Importance and benefits of business plan. Requisites of a good business plan.

Study of Financial Aspects

Break Even Analysis, Social Cost Benefit Analysis, Budget and planning process. Institutional finance to entrepreneurs – The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
